Thank you for reporting on this... It's very important to get the word out. I think every scientologist or someone thinking about becoming a scientologist should watch this video.

I hope Jason's words will help thousands of uncertain and scared Scientologists to make the break from this vicious cult.

Hey PTS.

Is your post representative of Scientology's argument? Oh dear! You're in worst shape than I thought.

Is this the way your CULT will end? Not with a bang, but a whimper!

Sad, really.

Fantastic interview!

Jason tells it like it is, from walking us through his
beginning excitement and interest, to getting no help
when he needed it, to wanting his money back, and all
that went before that.

Congratulations to you, Jason, for having the courage
to speak out! You've helped far more people already, today
with this interview, than you can imagine!

Great job editing, too, Mark---and thanks to Andreas for hooking
everyone up!

Lots of love and thanks :)

@LRH

Scientologists sure would know about lying, wouldn't you?

Amazing video.

So very glad you are out Jason, really hope more people follow.

LRH was a nut, but a clever nut - he had to be to get all these good
people to follow him. The man who had all the answers to the universe, if
you give your mind and your money.

Scientology - Knowing how to know - Lets hope they know.

As a Scientologist for 34 years I can speak directly to the other side of this story. I've continued studying and applying Scientology because it works. It is a very difficult path that requires significant self-discipline and commitment. The results in bettering one's life and the lives' of one's fellows are tremendous. It is a highly structured sequence of steps and to me the key has always been ensuring I fully grasped the step before moving on to the next.
I've seen too many Scientologists try to take shortcuts, skimming over important materials and moving on without the correct foundations. Their results have been poor, often with the conclusion that 'it doesn't work'.
I've also seen many Scientologists mis-apply the techniques and policies to their own detriment and the detriment of others. I look at this as zealotry, not a good operating basis for anyone in any activity. It is the job of each and every Scientologist to maintain their own integrity and refuse to agree with actions they deem wrong, whether inside their own church or in the secular world.

Great interview! Thanks for reporting on this. Scientology is a very interesting subject. Jason is so candid and real. It's refreshing. I hope to see him in more movie roles in the future. I hear the Mission Impossible franchise might need a new leading man. Hint, hint, hollywood. I thought the most telling part of the interview was when he was discussing the infamous Tom Cruise video and how within scientology his (Tom's)behavior would be seen as admirable and something to aspire to whereas those on the outside saw him as out of his mind. This really shows just how insidious scientology is that over time it can warp your perception to such a degree that madness seems sane and sanity and the reasonable questions of outsiders comes off as evil subterfuge. Really scary stuff. Hope everyone in get out!

What are your crimes you're hiding, Jason?
Just admit your crimes that you're using all this nonsense to hide.

hahahaha wow i never thought i would actually see someone say 'what are your crimes' its rather unnerving and zombie-like.... i find it awful similar to the grunt of frankensteins monster in an old horror flick... Mr Beghe is rather impressive and i think anyone' scientologist or otherwise would find this interview compelling if they took the time to watch it in its entirety with an open mind. H

on an unrelated note its ironic how i only get a little red spell check squiggle under the word scientologist it never seems to happen to the words christian , muslim, hindu or even mormon, it does however appear to happen to the word trekkie ... explanation? a conspiracy from the programmers at Microsoft Word or just the fact that they are both ermmmm made up science fiction terms.

I saw the interview and I really wasn't impressed. I think Jason is a great guy but it seemed like he really didn't have the right idea of what Scientology was about, which is pretty amazing as he was trained to be a class V auditor and had reached OT V. However, I do appreciate that it didn't work out for him and that he is angry and his experience may very well not have been his fault. This is not by any means a typical experience. Oddly enough what he had to say has actually strengthened my resolve to continue on up the Scientology bridge come what may. I look upon him as a fallen comrade and wish him well in his future endeavours. He will be missed.

'Didn't have the right idea of what Scientology is about'? After spending all those years and thousands of dollars? The 'Poster boy for Scientology' didn't have any idea what it was about? How delusional do you have to be to believe that? When you read what you typed, how does that make any sense to you?

Amazing InterviewApr 23rd, 2008 - 14:44:06

Jason spoke honestly, as accurately as he could, and in great, great detail. What a fantastic interview.

To anyone saying he's bearing a grudge : only the grudge he is detailing in the interview, nothing more, and it's with very good reason, what else would he need more than what he states here?

If it was about money, they offered his money back to him if he agreed not to talk negatively about them, he turned them down because he couldn't agree to that, it was against his morals.

This guy has integrity in spades.

Any other complains, 'he wasn't doing it right' etc. really? He left as an accomplished OTV (OT5) he had been declared 'the poster boy of Scientology', what level are you to say he wasn't doing it right?
if he wasn't doing it right how can they have let him go from OT1 to OT2? OT2 to OT3? how on earth could someone not doing it right get OT5!

Jason says it as it is, those lower down 'the bridge' don't know what they're being led into, it's all entirely designed to make it as hard as possible to learn what a scam it is until it's too late.

This is obviously one of the best cons and all our hats should be off to the dead founder who didn't become immortal after all - he easily grifted a billion dollars with Co$.

Wow! Did everyone catch that powerful OT Level mind control that was just pulled on us?
'You watched nothing'
'These aren't the droids you're looking for.'

Like Jabba sez: Your mind powers will not work on me boy.

Keep your 'handling' (scientology speak for controlling others) to yourself, for only the weak minded are subject to the Tone-40 Mind Trick.
