Paris Hilton on 'cottage cheese' Kardashian, apology follows

In the D-Listed world of quasi-celebrityhood, where the price of admission appears to be a rich set of parents, good genetics and a "leaked" sex tape to grease the reality development wheels; the queens of this heap are Paris Hilton and her once BFF, Kim Kardashian.
The step-sister of reality regular Brody Jenner, Kardashian started out as Paris' tag-along pal, an eBay closet cleaner who wound up a Calabasas retailer and star of her own sex tape, which eventually won her a reality show with her family.
But not one to be upstaged, ever, Miz Paris Hilton tee-heed it with a pair of typical hyper-caffeinated morning team motormouths in Las Vegas who asked Hilton in an interview on their morning radio show, if Hilton would choose Kim Kardashian's ass or Jessica Simpson's rack as attributes she would like.
Hilton quickly stated she thought the idea of Kim's ass was "gross" and demurred.
"It's disgusting," Hilton said of the backside sported by the daughter of late OJ Simpson lawyer, Robert Kardashian.
"It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag." Tee hee.
Hilton also eschewed the enormous double D's of Simpson, claiming she was pleased with what she had.
"I like how mine is [sic], I don't like big boobs. I think they're too … big," the current love interest of Benji Madden said.
Now, with the above audio available Paris Hilton has immediately issued a public apology to Kim Kardashian after insulting her.
Paris is all mea culpa and had publicist Eliot Mintz on retraction overdrive: "I was just joking around and I made a stupid joke," Paris tells In Touch magazine.
"I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim's hot!"
Kim accepts the apology, telling In Touch, "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry."
