Sorry but the two events are totally different. Some people seem to used George Clooney's name in order to sell clothes and jewelries even if he has strictly no links with them. That's totally illegal.
And check your facts, he has never hidden the fact that he did a bunch of adds.
Next time you use a story printed by others, please, try to do some little research and see if they had the facts right or not at the first place. This time, it would have taken you something like 5 minutes in order to see that it was not true at all.
