Janet Jackson's strict diet could ruin her dreams of becoming a mother.
The 'All For You' singer is desperate to have a baby with record producer lover Jermaine Dupri, but her eating regime and regular fasting could hamper her plans.
A source is quoted by Closer magazine as saying: "She eats tiny portions of bland food like grilled white fish and dry cereal and fruit. Janet also goes on regular 10-day cleansing fasts, which she swears by. But her wild weight fluctuations are making it difficult for her to conceive.
"Jermaine and Janet want a baby more than anything, but this could affect it."
In 2006, Janet shed a staggering 60lbs in just four months. Last year, she appeared to have regained her fuller figure, but last week, the singer was spotted looking slimmer than ever.
The 41-year-old star recently revealed she is planning to publish a book about her weight loss secrets.
She said: "It's my journey from when I was a kid - being an emotional eater. It takes you through those moments in my life up until now and what worked for me."
