Couric is doing a great job in the evening newscast. If you see her broadcast for the past months, it's better than ABC or NBC. During the Super Tuesday Coverage, she's the only anchor out of the Big Three to interview all the candidates. Her primary question series is also a great franchise. Her Minneapolis and California Wildfires is the best of the 3 networks. Her Iraq reporting also showcases her harn-news roots. I don't see anything wrong about Couric, aside from the fact that she's been so huge for the evening news and that people might see her as the Katie from Today Show. Give her a break.. she's the best!! We love you Katie!!
She got caught up in the mess made by Mr. Moonvies and now she's going to be a victim.
CBS exemplifies what is wrong with media in the USA.
Shes done! A has been. Get fer out of there, she can't do a good job by herself, she needs Matt LAurer. Now he would be a good host.
I used to work at an awesome medium-sized national transcription company. We were bought by a huge corporation. At the first meeting we were told that our new parent company bought us for who we were, and were not going to change much about us.
WRONG!
Well, I sure miss Katie's smile (cos I haven't seen it lately). I hope she gets to work for an organization that really gets what she is about.

She can read the news as well as the rest of them!
I think you do a great job with the news but I think you were much better on the Today show. I can't stand Merideth Vieira. She can't hold a candle to you. She is so bow-legged that you could put a barrel between her legs and her laugh sounds like a cackle. Get rid of her and go back to Today.
