Jay-Z And Beyoncé Knowles make it official

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z finally tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony at Jay-Z's New York apartment, People.com reported early Saturday.
"It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair — close friends and family," an insider told the magazine.
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the apartment that was attended by the couple's families and many celebrities according to People.com.
Last Tuesday, Jay and Beyoncé were reported to have secured a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York, a short car ride from their Manhattan home.
Many thought it was an April Fool's Day joke.
The scoffers changed their tune quickly on Friday morning when a tent was erected at the top of Jay-Z's building. Soon after flowers and candelabras were delivered to the downtown locale, according to People.com. The site also reported that waiters could be seen on the swank pad's roof practicing service.
On Friday, a reverend and his wife were spotted outside Jay's apartment, according to UsMagazine.com.
Early in the evening, guests including Jay's mom, Gloria Carter; B's father and manager, Mathew Knowles; her sister, Solange; Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow; and Beyoncé's former bandmates in Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were spotted by TMZ.com.
TMZ claims that cell phones were also banned.
Jay-Z is scheduled to perform in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday night with Mary J. Blige for the Heart of the City Tour.
No official announcements or confirmations have been issued by the couple yet.

He and Mary J. Blige were on Letterman last night. Letterman evidentally didn't have an inside track, because he didn't bring it up. Not sure what anyone sees in Jay-Z - he looked like a slouch. Guess you have to be into rap to understand the appeal???
Being a long time fan of Jay-Z and Beyonce', I think that it was great that such a powerhouse team in music got together to become lovers. I do not think that it was such a good idea for them to get married, though. But I do wish them the best of luck, and hope that they have a long and happy marriage.
I am so proud of JayZ and Beyonce. God bless your marriage and may your life be filled with happiness and love(respecting and valuing each other)until death do you part. You love her JayZ and Beyonce you submit to him. I pray that God will continue to bless you before the very eyes of your enemies/haters as He already does. love beyonce and love jay-z. just think that she should have waited a little longer and enjoyed being young a little more. older guys sow thier oats and then at 35-37 want to settle down. i just don't think that she experienced all that life had to offer. I know she is rich and can have everything she wants, but money can't buy back her youth. jay knows he got a good thing though. congrats to the newleyweds....OOOH no, i just had a thought....she's probably pregnant!!!! HERE WE GO.....if the papparazzi catches her at popeye's (HER FAVORITE) in the next couple months, you know i was right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
