Aretha Franklin's property tax problems

With tacked-on fees and interest, Franklin's total forfeited bill comes to $1,603.49.The Associated Press reported that a foreclosure judgment was entered this month week.Franklin owns several properties in Bloomfield Hills and elsewhere, and is listed as an owner of the property in question.The Detroit News claims 4.9 percent of households in metro Detroit were in some stage in foreclosure in 2007, about 73,000, citing figures from RealtyTrac.
