Sydney - Acid-tongued feminist academic Germaine Greer on Monday dismissed US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton as a 'bossy and cold and manipulative' woman who is only on the hustings because she is former president Bill Clinton's wife.

Greer was the also one who previously said Aussie naturist Steve Irwin deserved his death by a stingray.

In her homeland to attend a writers' festival in Adelaide, the 69-year-old writer and academic said she liked Bill but loathed Hillary and said they had a business partnership rather than an emotional relationship.

'They give me the creeps from that point of view,' the author of 1970's seminal The Female Eunuch told local television.

'Everybody loves Bill. Bill is adorable and Bill is always flattering me and inviting me to stuff in Britain and we're buddy-buddy, and I like him. I don't like Hillary because she's so bossy and cold and manipulative and stuff.'

The famously acerbic Greer, who has lived in Britain for the past 40 years but has refused to take on British citizenship, didn't rate Clinton's pull with women.

'I can't see that Hillary would appeal to feminists because, why is she there? She is there because she is Bill's wife, and it's a bit useless to pretend, 'Oh, it's because of her wonderful job as a senator', and all that,' she said.

Sounds like the old bag is jealous to me, she didn't have a single intelligent thing to say. And also sounds like the above poster needs to get counseling about his mysogynistic thoughts. Don't worry, there's too many other woman haters in this country like you, this country won't vote for a woman. You're safe (for now)

Is Germaine Greer insane? She also previously said Aussie naturist Steve Irwin deserved to be stabbed to death by that stingray! And after THAT she has the unmitigated GALL to call Hillary Clinton 'cold?!' In actuality, nearly everyone who really knows Hillary knows she is a caring person.

While still in Law School, Hillary Clinton volunteered at New Haven Hospital. She saw children with cigarette burns on their bodies and other obvious signs of child abuse. Bill Clinton was seriously dating her then and he said she would cry over the children after leaving the hospital. But fortunately, Hillary Rodham Clinton is not the kind of person who just cries and wrings her hands. As usual, Hillary rolled up her sleeves and went to work. She began to compile meticulous records about what she saw and sent them to Congress. Congress then enacted tougher child protective laws. Because of ONE young lady still in school! Hillary Rodham Clinton! When Bill Clinton told millions of people while campaigning for his first term as President, 'Elect me and you get her for free!' Because he knew the good she had already done for our country. Guess what? He was elected.

Bill also said on tv that he had been a little intimidated about asking Hillary out. Because he said she was known as 'The Brain' on campus. Now, Bill was a Rhodes Scholar! How smart is Hillary if Bill was intimidated by her smarts?! lol Hillary had years earlier been the first student in the long, prestigious history of Wellesley College to give the graduation address. She got a standing ovation!

In India, a multi-BILLION dollar company was looking for international headquarters. They could have gone anywhere in the world - from France to Fiji. Hillary rolled up her sleeves, worked hard, and persuaded that company to place its international headquarters in Buffalo, New York! She made sure her constituents got those good-paying computer jobs!

Hillary Clinton had worn down not one, but two Republican opponents to win her Senate seat in double-digits and after she got there she wrote legislation with her Republican colleague on The Armed Services Committee to give more much-needed aid to veterans. Hillary's earlier work included helping 6 million children get health care coverage who had gone without it!

There are women in the U.S. Senate today who have less in the way of smarts, savvy, compassion, persistence and accomplishments than Hillary Clinton. It was downright stupid of apparently insane Germain Greer to suggest she somehow 'knows' Hillary Clinton couldn't have made it to the Senate on her own! Hillary clearly could have.

When Barack Obama was under stress he took cocaine. When George W. Bush was under stress he drank to excess and even drove drunk. And let's face it, when her own husband felt stress he apparently turned to a woman outside of his marriage. In STARK contrast, when Hillary Clinton felt stress she almost shed a tear. Which of those approaches to handling stress is the most constructive and sane? Jails are full of men who if they had been able to cry may not be there.

Male Senator, Larry Craig, solicited males in public restroom stalls! Male Congressman Mark Foley tried to sexually corrupt unsuspecting male teenaged pages! And now Governor Eliot Spitzer is found to have risked his wife's health and the influence on young men who may have looked to him as a role model. Perhaps crazy foreigner, Germaine Greer, enjoys thinking about the prospect of reading of the exploits of men like that in government rather than about the sober judgement and good government a brilliant, hardworking, compassionate, problem-solver like Hillary can bring. My husband and I are feminists. And we are ashamed of Germaine Greer.

After attending church on these shores, one normal foreigner once wrote of our country, 'America is great because America is good.' The Bible says our leaders should be above reproach. We can send a message. Elect many more decent, brilliant, hardworking, compassionate, problem-solving women to political office. Let's start with Hillary Rodham Clinton, the best candidate for President on either side of the aisle!

How pathetic that this irrelevant old hag has to make her living insulting other women. I would have more respect for her if she just made short work of it and became a prostitute straight out.

Hillary is a phony. If she was so concerned about women issues, she would return the $170,000 back to IPA a company accused of sexually harrasing women. This was commened by Lisa Myers on Feb 29, 2008 and Jim Popkins but did not get much media press.
