Pop icon Madonna and screen stars Viggo Mortensen, Andie MacDowell, Linda Fiorentino and Sharon Stone are all turning fifty this year.

Age fifty is a momentous milestone and can mean that much of life is still ahead, after having raised children, and securing more financial freedom.
People take better care of themselves too. Pilates, Yoga, healthy diets and avoiding the skin killers like Sun, smoking, drink and drugs while exploring less-invasive plastic surgery options such as Botox, Restalayne and chemical face peels are common remedies.
Chat show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres (January 26) will be throwing a birthday party on her daytime talk show.
Michelle Pfeiffer (April 29) had a career hiatus in her forties only to star in three films last year. She's never looked better.
Prince (June 7) may need a hip replacement, but he is still making music and throwing lavish parties.

Viggo Mortensen (October 20) electrified audiences in his performance in the film, "Eastern Promises." The man had a rock hard body and is an artist, poet, photographer and he is fluent in four languages.
Sharon Stone turns 50 on Monday, and she is joined by a large group of actors and eighties musical stars who can all apply for their AARP cards now:
