The TV-and-radio presenter left London's Heathrow Airport in a taxi when she realised she didn't have enough money for the fare.
She said: "I told the driver I hadn't got any money and asked if we could stop at a cash point, and he was like, 'How do I know you've got any money?' And I started crying."
Fearne - who is dating US star Jesse Jenkins - also spoke about another embarrassing moment when she was travelling.
She said: "I was on this aeroplane and I spilt water over this guy's chair who was sitting next to me. When he returned from the toilet I turned into a wreck, apologising and turning red!"
The multi-talented star revealed she was "c
ing herself" when she forked out £1,000 on a Chanel watch.
She added to Heat magazine: "I've got a very nice Chanel watch, which was just over a grand. It was my first big purchase and I was literally c
ing myself!"
