Jennifer Garner claims she hasn't had to tame husband Ben Affleck.
The 'Juno' actress - who has a two-year-old daughter, Violet, with the actor - insists he has always been perfect husband and father material.
Speaking about Affleck, who was once famed for his wild behaviour and constant partying, Garner said: "I can't take any credit for being the woman who tamed Ben Affleck. To me, he's just always been an incredibly kind and generous man. We've tried to stay out of the public eye and we're not really party people at all."
Affleck famously had a high-profile engagement to Jennifer Lopez, with the media dubbing them 'Bennifer', but he and Garner are determined to lead a quiet lifestyle.
The only stars they socialise with are Matt Damon, his wife Luciana and their children, and Garner insists they are not interested in being famous.
The '13 Going On 30' star - who has just splashed out on a $22 million Los Angeles mansion with Ben - said: "When Matt Damon is around, he and his wife and Ben and I will spend time together. But that's as far as it goes celebrity wise. I'd love to be able to tell you we hang out with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale but it's really not the case."
