Natalie Portman can be insecure.
'The Other Boleyn Girl' actress admits she constantly worries about her acting abilities and is paranoid she isn't good enough to appear on the big screen.
She said: "I often feel insecure and don't believe in myself. I think we all do unless we're some kind of egomaniacal freak! Either you push yourself to do something, or someone else looks at you and believes in you, and then you get belief from that. I guess it would be kind of scary not to doubt yourself. But doubting yourself too much can also become like a sickness."
Although she is at times an insecure person, Natalie insists she can be extremely ruthless when going after the film roles she wants.
The 26-year-old star said: "I can be a scheming b***h when I really want something!"
