Cynthia Nixon is in a "fantastic relationship" with her lesbian lover.
The 'Sex and the City' actress - who has two children, 11-year-old Samantha and Charles, six, from her relationship with Danny Mozes - loves raising her family with Christine Marinoni, the New York activist she has been dating for four years.
She said: "I'm in a fantastic relationship. We shop and cook and raise children - we both pitch in. I'm in love with her because she's her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I honestly don't know."
Cynthia, 41, also dismissed rumours she, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis had been fighting on the set of 'Sex and the City: The Movie'.
She added to America's OK! magazine: "I don't feel there were any fights. You work with people, and you have disagreements and you move on. People have preconceptions, and women together are supposed to get catty."
'Sex and the City: The Movie' is released worldwide at the end of May.
