...how they laud these liberals, are a catholic college, and seem to utterly sidestep the issue of their backing of Abortion. Well, as long as President Martin is happy...

is predictable from you SP4

Sheen is a believer in LIFE, which is antithetical to WAR - regardless of what side of the border a person is standing on.

He is a humanitarian first, and I would hardly deign him a Liberal!

...if that is the case, and I won't deny it, why is it this Catholic college is not scrutinizing the pro-abortion stand of this person they laud? Why is it he's lauded for his anti-war stance but his pro-abortion stance is not mentioned?

To people who really hate killing, murder in the womb is also 'anti ethical(?)'. In this case, it's lauding someone who is diametrically opposed to the churches doctrine on abortion, while actually having this stand to begin with.

By the way, if you want to meet a truly pro-life, anti-war personality, go to the Vatican and ask for the big guy. The church may be full of dickheads, but their stance on life is unassailable.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Actor Martin Sheen has backed out of being listed as an endorser for the pro-abortion march sponsored by leading abortion advocacy groups. Whether the listing of him as a sponsor was accidental or if Sheen didn't know the march's purpose is to support abortion is still a question.

That Sheen, who plays a fictitious president on the hit NBC drama 'West Wing,' was listed as a sponsor of the pro-abortion march was a surprise. Though he holds what some consider liberal views on other political issues, Sheen is a longtime pro-life supporter.

In 2001, Sheen was listed by Feminists for Life, a pro-woman group, as a 'Remarkable Pro-Life Man,' along with actor Ben Stein, Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ), and columnist George Will. Sheen's wife Janet signed off on the article.

Sheen has also been a longtime supporter of the Seamless Garment Network, a pro-life group that also opposes war, poverty, abortion, racism, and capital punishment.

..until it comes time to support those candidates who are not...then, he gets absolution from the church...the libnazi church..or the catholic church...take your pick...

so...just how 'po-life' is he...really?

Goddamn...liberals get a pass on everything. They claim to be this or that, give it lip service, and then are let off the hook, every damn time, for their actions.
