Your story makes it seem as if the Hells Angels decided to kill Meredith Hunter just for kicks; at the end of the story you mentioned that he was carrying a gun. A more accurate description would have included that prior to being attacked, Meredith Hunter had pulled out his gun and was waving it around and pointing it at the stage and threatening to shoot. It was at that point where he was stabbed several times and knocked to the ground. His death was unfortunate, but when you start pointing a gun at people bad things happen.

The hells angels are nothing but a group of cowards who think they are above the law. I have seen them attack and beat innocent civilians for no apparent reason.There is nothing noble about six or seven angels beating one person to the point of hospitalization or death.Thry are criminals and should be treated as such. My prayers are with the victims and thier familes.
