Victoria Beckham was recently turned away from a New York restaurant, it has been claimed.
The Spice Girls star was visiting trendy restaurant Michael's when she was made to wait for a table because there were so many Hollywood A-listers there.
An onlooker told Britain's Star magazine: "It was a room full of movers and shakers and the maitre d' kept her waiting for half an hour for a table. She looked really upset but, let's put it this way, there were a lot more important people in the room than her!"
Victoria was also said to be more concerned about waiting by herself than about being made to wait for a table.
The onlooker added: "Victoria was twitching in her seat and constantly checking her BlackBerry. She looked really upset to be sitting there by herself."

'Victoria was more concern about waiting by herself than being made to wait for the table...' - well, this only proves that Victoria is a nice, down to earth celebrity! i'm sure other celebs will be furious and make a scene of such a simple 'order' by a restaurant!
