Oslo - A planned court appearance by British singer Amy Winehouse in the Norwegian west coast city Bergen has been postponed, the Bergens Tidende newspaper reported Wednesday.
In October, the soul singer, her husband and another member of her entourage spent a night in police custody after a small amount of marijuana was found in a hotel room while she was on tour in Bergen.
The trio were released after being served a fine, but later Winehouse appealed the 500-euro-fine (710 dollars) and in accordance with Norwegian law has to appear in person in court.
A judge said the appeal court hearing scheduled for Friday was postponed since the singer's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was due in a London court the same day, the online edition of the newspaper said.
Winehouse, 24, has generated numerous headlines over excesses with alcohol and other drugs.
