London/Sao Paulo - British supermodel Naomi Campbell is recovering well after having a cyst removed in a hospital in Brazil, her spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The 37-year-old underwent the procedure at the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in Sao Paulo.
'Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital last night to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work,' said the spokeswoman.
Campbell also thanked the hospital staff for looking after her. But the spokeswoman declined to give further details on the model's condition.
In an official statement earlier, the hospital said Campbell was being treated by David Uip, a specialist in infectious diseases.
