Valerie Bertinelli spills her secrets: Sex, drugs and rock n' roll

Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli has written a tell-all about her past issues with drug use, body image and cheating.

In her new memoir book, Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time, Bertinelli tells all—including nitty gritty details of affairs outside of her marriage to former husband Eddie Van Halen, including 'passionately' kissing another woman.

Bertinelli, who is still serving as a spokeswoman for the Jenny Craig weight-loss program, admitted on the Feb. 25 episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show that she once dated Steven Spielberg.

"I went up to read for Raiders of the Lost Ark which I was so wrong for," Bertinelli said. "And the next day I got a call and some flowers... [Spielberg] asked me out. We went out a few times... And did more."

Bertinelli's fling with Spielberg was openly reported in the tabloids, but that turns out to be only a smidge of what Bertinelli has been keeping under wraps from her past.

In her new memoir, Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pount at a Time, Bertinelli, 47, also reveals details about her marriage to rocker Eddie Van Halen, her abuse of cocaine and her ever-present body issues.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Bertinelli says she cheated on her former husband, but says she still doesn't know if he had been unfaithful to her first. “I cheated—He claims to this day that I cheated first," Bertinelli said, "but I don't know. I don't know about the timing."
