Kate Hudson gets on so well with Matthew McConaughey because they are both "crazy".
The 28-year-old beauty - who stars with Matthew, 38, in upcoming film 'Fool's Gold' - believes the pair have great on screen chemistry because of their fun-loving personalities.
She told Total Film magazine: "Matthew has one of those youthful spirits that some people might call crazy and others call a blast.
"He's one of those people that sometimes drives you crazy, one of those people with an 'out there' personality, but I have the same kind of personality too so I think we appreciate it in each other.
"Matthew just wants to have a good time and that's why I can connect with him so well."
'Fool's Gold', which is due to hit cinemas in April, sees the pair reunited for the first time since they starred together in 2003 romantic comedy 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days'.
