those things are true but still love him, he's just a happy big boy who is determined to make people around him laugh.
If you read his autobiography, you will know that the embarrassment moment was caused by a practical joke. Someone put some medicine in his drink leading to diarrhea. And the second one, I am not sure under which circumstances he mentioned that, but I remember him talking even more worse fantasy than that only to say that is better remain a fantasy.
As an entertainer, John make jokes which might only appropriate in certain programs he attends (or to certain readers), I bet he will never say these things in TV shows aiming for children.
Chopped information could be misleading.
