Nicole Richie's table dance

Nicole Richie has been spotted dancing on tabletops, just five weeks after giving birth.

'The Simple Life' star - who gave birth to Harlow Winter, her first child with fiancé Joel Madden on January 11 - was seen "letting her hair down" at Los Angeles hotspot Teddy's last weekend.

One onlooker told Us Weekly magazine: "Nicole was having a blast. She was her old self again - not in a bad way, but she was really letting her hair down.

"When Britney Spears' 'Gimme More' came on, she climbed on the table in her booth and started dancing crazily."

Nicole, who was accompanied by Joel, also bumped into old friend Lindsay Lohan, and the pair showed off their dance moves to the sound of 90s boy band Hanson.

The onlooker continued: "Lindsay headed over to where Nicole and Joel were sitting and gave Nicole a big hug. Then she dragged them both up and the whole group danced to Hanson's 'MMMBop'."

Nicole and Joel left the club after staying just 45 minutes.
