Lindsay Lohan's nude Monroe shoot

Lindsay Lohan has posed nude as Marilyn Monroe in a sensational new photo shoot.
The 'Mean Girls' star was "comfortable" shedding her clothes to recreate the famous 'Last Sitting' shots of Marilyn, taken by photographer Bert Stern just six weeks before she died of a drugs overdose.
Lindsay said: "I didn't have to put much thought into it. Working with Bert Stern on a Marilyn Monroe shoot was really an honour. When is that ever going to come up again?
"I wanted to portray the look and get it point-on as much as I could, to bring it back to life. I was comfortable with it, the nudity and everything."
In the shots, Lindsay wears a peroxide blonde wig and winged eyeliner, and is seen posing with a series of see-through chiffon scarves, a diamond necklace and sprawled naked on a bed.
The 21-year-old actress - who confessed she panicked and did 250 stomach crunches the night before the shoot in a bid to get her stomach as flat as possible - revealed she has always been a big fan of the iconic star.
She said: "If you saw my house, I have a lot of Marilyn stuff. I've got this painting of her in my house. It's eerie because it's a picture and it's kind of cartoony, and there's a big bottle of pills next to her, and they've fallen over."
Photographer Bert Stern, who originally photographed Marilyn 46 years ago, added: "It was very similar, déjà vu you might say, like revisiting an old street."
Lindsay also spoke about the recent death of close friend Heath Ledger, who died of an accidental drugs overdose last month.
She added to New York magazine: "It's also tragic what just recently happened to someone else. Marilyn and Heath are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone. But I sure as hell wouldn't let it happen to me."

Tawdry, over-developed pictures of a no-talent, peaked before puberty 'actress' is an insulting and market oriented play for attention.
This is more embarrassing for Bert Stern than anything else.
Her face is more angular than Marilyn's, and the wig had no connection with her face - it was clearly visible in certain angles as a wig that was stuck on, like a hat. What I took away from it were the freckles all over, which show up more starkly in this kind of lighting. I thought she looked anything but young, and perhaps that's the result of her lifestyle. She looked hard and tough where Marilyn looked vulnerable - there's not an ounce of vulnerability to Lindsay in these, and it amounted to a lousy acting job rather than a reflection of a personality, which Marilyn's shots were. I can imagine that some true Monroe fans feel as though they've been used, with an impostor trying to ape the real thing through an obvious wig and makeup effects. A look at the REAL Marilyn shots makes the point.
Instead of trying to understand the 'content' of who Marilyn was, Lindsay has played copycat, and lost. The whole thing smacks of an acting assignment in a bad movie, where even a good actor has nothing to work with.
It ended up a way to show off some enhanced assets under the excuse of a testimonial to someone seen as a legend, and it was, frankly, just distracting. Marilyn's shoots worked because it revealed something about Marilyn. What this farce reveals about Lindsay, I don't even want to know, because she just comes off pouty and tough, in my eyes. Perhaps, that's what we're supposed to take away from it.

The pictures were just plain awful! She looked like a bleach headed tramp. No class at all.
Lohan is beautiful and was able to do something like this shoot as she wanted. The fact that the nobodies that arm-chair quarter back every move of a celebrities life want to flame it, is a shame and just shows the culture of whores in which we have become.
A shameless society that wants more pictures or Britney's mental collapse to laugh at, autopsy shots of heath ledger and here to pick apart Lohans photo shoot.

It's just upsetting how this watanabe Ms. Silicon Loaded Lowhand [misspelled with intent], can screw-up the best of what Marlin Monroe had to offer.............
????? ummm.............?????????? wha??????? I was looking forward to the pics untill I seen them, and??????????? now I feel like I just seen a school bus full of kids get hit by a train...... I feel like im gonna hurl and feel obligated to help her in some way??????????????? um????????????????????? what reasonably sober person gets naked for everbody and there grandma's dog without hitting the gym for a week or 2???????? and she should seriously think about pressing charges against her make up person too............................ im gonna drink some pepto now.
