Why is this worthy of national news?
She is nothing more than another product of the current Disney Empire which has broken from the memory and ideals of its founder Walt Disney. The new Disney are merely whore mongers and perverts placating to the sexually depraved and the homosexual substratum of humanity. She is trying to justify the depravity of the likes of B. Spears by countering here actions with those of her predecessor and at this point attempting to give the impression that she is in some way different. 'Not'. She cannot sing and her performances whould be better performed by the late Jon-Boni Ramsey. And just as with Spears, without the heavy overuse of electronics and dubbing, she sould be a first round cut from the American Idol auditions. She is at this time physically unattractive for a girl of her age and her reliance of wigs to created her 'image' will scar her for the rest of her life. Cher is a perfect example of the effects that await Smily. She is an extremely poor example of anything to expose children to and a disgusting example of any type of real talent. She and Spears may do better at a Singapore whorehouse.
If this is an issue then the tv show Medium should be scolded for showing the lead actress talking on her cell phone while driving on every episode!
This isn't even 'news'. Get a real story! I heard that Isaac from the Love Boat Was jaywalking, better get on that story quick!

In response to the statement 'She is at this time physically unattractive for a girl of her age...' she is 15, unless you are roughly that age yourself, it's a bit creepy that finding her 'attractive' or not is even an issue.
Parents are responsible for their children's safety, not Miley Cirus. Give Billy Ray a ticket, yeah, but don't blame him for your misbehaved children. If a mom tells her daughter to put on her seatbelt and the girl says 'but Hannah Montanna doesn't wear one,' the proper response should be something like 'Well Hanna Montanna isn't my daughter and you are, so you will wear your seatbelt or I'm gonna wrap this car around your tree house and you'll wish you listened to mommy, young lady!' Okay, that was extreme, but i digress...
Also, I agree with the statement 'is this even news?' Leave the kid alone, I think everyone should persue their intrests (except of course finding 15 year olds attractive) if it makes them happy, regardless of their range of abilities and what corporation signs their paycheck.
