Paris Hilton 'hot' for Harvard

Paris Hilton declared "Harvard's hot!" as she accepted her Harvard Lampoon's Woman of the Year award yesterday (06.02.08).
The hotel heiress was cheered by hundreds of screaming fans as she was handed the accolade by the university's 132-year-old Harvard Lampoon magazine on the steps of the Lampoon Castle in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She said: "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here, standing on the steps of the Harvard Lampoon. It's really exciting and I've had such a great time! You guys are so hot! Harvard's so hot!"
Lampoon member Hayes Davenport explained the reasons behind choosing Paris for the honour, adding: "The choice was pretty easy when you think of who's had the most profound effect on our lives."
Paris claimed best friend Nicole Richie was with her, but when onlookers tried to catch a glimpse of Nicole, Paris laughed: "Just kidding - she's in Los Angeles with her new baby!"
The Harvard Lampoon Woman of the Year award spoofs the university's Hasty Pudding awards, where the undergraduate drama company honour their woman and man of the year.
Charlize Theron has been named Woman of the Year and will collect her award today (07.02.08), while Christopher Walken will receive his Man of the Year prize on February 15.
