Reporters for Extra spoke to the U.N. Messenger of Peace George Clooney at the Oscar luncheon yesterday.
Clooney opened up about winning another Oscar, his good friends Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and Presidential candidate Barack Obama.
When asked what winning another Oscar would mean to him, Clooney jokingly responded, “Two Oscars.”
Clooney shared who he believed would snap up the coveted award. “If you want my honest opinion, I think it’s going to be Daniel Day-Lewis. He sort of irritates all of us because he’s so good. I’ll tell you right now, I don’t like him!”
Switching gears, Clooney revealed he admired Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for their humanitarian work. “She’s been amazing [as a U.N. Ambassador]. She and Brad both. They do really walk the walk. They live in New Orleans. Brad designs and builds buildings.”
Prior to the Super Tuesday primaries, Clooney continued to publicly support Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama saying, “I’ve never been around anything like Obama. I’ve never seen anyone speak like that.”
