Seriuosly - Coulter is a nut job. Why does anyone pay any attention to her? Oh wait, I know, she's a blond republican.

And come on - Hillary more conservative than McCain? This woman needs a jacket of the straight variety.

I agree..Feb 1st, 2008 - 20:32:25

with both of you. Why is she voting for Hillary anyway? Isn't Hillary a little open-minded and respectful of others for her taste? Ann has always been such a hate mongering bible thumper, who can't stand anybody who isn't just like her. She MUST be looking for attention. Hillary's just too good of a person for her to respect like that.

My bet is that Ann Coulter lost a bar bet with someone and had to go on national television and declare that she would vote for Hillary.

She's little more than a political shock-jock. Worthless conservative rhetoric is her tool; she tries to pass it for news and intelligent commentary.

It may, though, be definitive proof that if one goes far enough to the Right, he/she comes back around the other side on the Left!

I suspect Coulter believes that the republican candidate (whoever is eventually nominated) would have a better chance of beating Obama in the presidential election than beating Clinton, so she's trying to sabotage Clinton's campaign against Obama by pretending to support her :)
Either that or she has gone even further off her rocker than she was before.

McCain isn't a Conservative - he's a puppet!Feb 2nd, 2008 - 00:07:04

Ann understands that John McCain isn't a true conservative anymore than Joseph Lieberman is a conservative. They're both neo-cons; thus, their main foreign policy priority is Israel. McCain and Lieberman co-sponsored the 2002 Iraq War Resolution. They, also, lobbied Bill Clinton to no avail in 1998 to attack and invade Iraq.

John McCain's campaign was on life support as late as Dec.3, 2007, fairing no better than third in any of the pre-primary polls. That day the National Intelligence Estimate was released, stating that Iran had stopped its nuclear weapons program in 2003. The neo-cons were up in arms because they understood that the NIE would virtually guarantee that the U.S. wouldn't attack Iran unilaterally. The balance of power had just shifted significantly, so they needed a new Puppet. John 'Bomb Bomb Iran' McCain, a well known maverick and consistent supporter of the Iraq war, became their logical choice.

He's started receiving the endorsement of the entire liberal media establishment almost overnight. Most people didn't notice that McCain actually received the endorsement of the dominant newspaper in each of the early primary caucus states: The Des moine Register, the New Hampshire Union-Leader, South Carolina's 'The State' and 'The Greenville News' - plus New Hampshire's neighboring state newspaper, the Boston Globe (owned by the New York Times), all endorsed McCain.

McCain monopolized these endorsements even though he was placing no better than third in relevant national polls and wasn't leading in any of the early states prior to the pseudo - local paper's endorsement. I say pseudo because none of these papers are actually locally owned - each is owned by one of five major national media companies: The New York Times Co., Gannett Co., The Washington Post Co. and McClatchy Newspapers, Inc., and Tribune News Co.

Who's really behind those newspaper endorsement?Feb 2nd, 2008 - 21:37:15

Tribune Publishing newspaper endorsements to date: Los Angeles Times: McCain, Chicago Tribune: McCain, Newsday: McCain, The Baltimore Sun: McCain, South Florida Sun Sentinel: McCain, Orlando-Sentinel: McCain.

Tribune Publishing is the leading U.S. major-market newspaper group with the third-largest total circulation. The company operates 12 leading daily newspapers: Los Angeles Times; Chicago Tribune; Newsday (Long Island, N.Y.); The Sun (Baltimore); South Florida Sun-Sentinel; Orlando Sentinel; The Hartford Courant; The Morning Call (Allentown, Pa.); Daily Press (Newport News, Va.); The Advocate (Stamford, Conn.); Greenwich Time (Greenwich, Conn.);

Gannett NEWSPAPERS: In the United States, the company publishes 85 daily newspapers, including USA TODAY, and nearly 1,000 non-daily publications. The company’s U.S. daily newspapers have a combined daily paid circulation of approximately 7.2 million, which includes USA TODAY with a circulation of approximately 2.3 million. The company is the largest newspaper publisher in the U.S.

The New York Times Company, a leading media company with 2007 revenues of $3.2 billion, includes The New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, The Boston Globe, 15 other daily newspapers, WQXR-FM and more than 50 Web sites, including NYTimes.com, Boston.com and About.com.

The McClatchy Company today owns 31 daily newspapers in 29 U.S. markets.

As you can see, virtually no local newspaper in America is actually locally owned. These few media behemoths have enormous power to influence elections through the mirage of local endorsements, plus the manner in which they choose to present both news and opinion.

Annie KNOWS how to sell books, and she makes a fortune! Her whole act is pointed to book selling, and it works. She's got liberals just pissing themselves most of the time. Now, she's got people running from Hillary because she suddenly LIKES her!

Here's the best part: she is in a relationship with some New England liberal politician!

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
