Found this article about why she got together with this bloke. Never trust a psychic lol, always go off first impressions.
Cheryl Tweedy only decided to date Ashley Cole because a psychic advised her to.
The Girls Aloud singer was unimpressed when the footballer shouted, 'Hey hot lips, nice bum!' to her from a car in their first encounter.
However, tarot card reader Gareth Francis made Cheryl realise that Ashley could be 'the one'.
'I hate the kind of comments that Ashley shouted at me. I so did not want a footballer as a boyfriend,' she told the Sunday Mirror. 'Then I went to see a psychic in Newcastle and he said, 'You've been looking at this guy, Ashley, in a magazine', and I had been.
'I actually fancied Ashley but had decided not to do anything about it because of what he had shouted at me. But Gareth said, 'You need to pursue this, it's great'. So he gave me the push to give Ashley my number.'

Isn't it astonishing how Cheryl, previously known for beating up a toilet attendant in an arguement over a lollipop, has suddenly become the great victim all because her husband broke his promises.
We have no idea why he broke his vows, but if she was half as sanctimonious at home as she has been in the press over the last few months then he must have found it a pretty sickening place to be.
As for her being entitled to half of his money, I hope to God that is just media exaggeration.
If a woman who is already wealthy in her own right is entitled to half of her husband's money, including money he made before they were married, after an 18 month marriage with no children, a marriage which was obviously a mistake, then watch out girls, because no sensible man will ever get married again.
It seems as if marriage is the only situation in UK law in which punitive damages are permitted.
