Cameron Diaz's Hollywood escape

Cameron Diaz is fleeing Hollywood to live in New York.
The 'Charlie's Angels' star - who has often spoken about her hatred of the large paparazzi presence in Los Angeles - was spotted hunting for a new home in Manhattan on Sunday (27.01.08).
A source said: "Cameron has her eye on a one-bedroom apartment in a two-year-old mid-rise building in West Chelsea. She has been to look round it and has fallen in love with it."
New York Rangers' ice-hockey star Sean Avery - who split from his '24' actress girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert last year - lives in the same building.
Last year, Cameron, 35, complained she had "suffered" along with her Hollywood neighbour Paris Hilton when the socialite was sent to prison last June.
Cameron said: "She just has to get it plastered all over the world and have 10 helicopters around her house, which I live not too far from - I was like, 'Can you keep it down?' So we all suffer when Paris suffers."
She added: "Hollywood is a funny place. It offers so much, but it can also take a lot away from you."
