The Cribs' guitarist Ryan Jarman wants to eat an egg laid by girlfriend Kate Nash.
The 27-year-old rocker recently admitted to the bizarre longing, and insisted he would like the egg to be "poached" before it was served to him.
He said: "The gossip magazines are really interested in our relationship and we get asked all sorts of questions.
"Weirdly, before we even went out someone asked me if I would like to eat an egg laid by Kate. I had to think about it, but I decided I would, and that I would ideally like it to be poached."
Ryan claims he was attracted to the 20-year-old star because she is an "intelligent" girl.
He added to NME magazine: "She's definitely a subversive character. She's an intelligent female who does things on her own terms - that was definitely one of the things that appealed to me.
"I've got so much respect for Kate personally and musically."
Kate and Ryan announced they were an item at the Vodafone Music Live Awards in September.
Kate said at the time: "Ryan has met my parents and my sister and it was all very sweet."
