Actress and consistent top "sexiest woman" list winner, Scarlett Johansson, has returned from a USO tour in the Persian Gulf with a whole lot of soldiers' mementos and a tip to Barack Obama, her new "man."
"I am engaged ... to Barack Obama," Johansson joked in an interview with The Associated Press on Thursday. "My heart belongs to Barack, and that is who I am currently, finally, engaged to. Yes."
Johansson was merely avoiding any questions about her reported engagement to Alanis Morrisette's ex-fiance, Ryan Reynolds.
Stars and Stripes had reported the comely actress dropped by U.S. bases in Kuwait on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18 as part of a USO tour in which she met about 3,500 men and women in uniform.
"Everybody that I met there was so incredibly friendly and polite and genuine and generous," she said to the AP. "They were so, so sweet. I mean, I was just amazed."
The starstruck servicemen gave her keepsake patches, religious medals as they fawned over the blonde New York actress.
Soon she will be seen in "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "He's Just Not That Into You," as well as launching an album on May 20.
Her album,"Anywhere I Lay My Head," features Tom Waits cover songs and one original track. "It was a really, really sort of inspired process to make this CD, and it was something I'd never done before," said Johansson to the AP.

'Johansson noted the starstruck servicemen gave her keepsake patches, religious medals and fawned over the blonde, New York actress.'The writing in this article, as in most articles on this site, is just awful.
Omitting the totally irelevent fact that Scarlet is from New York, proper grammar would then be: 'Johannson said that the starstruck servicemen fawned over her, presenting keepsake patches and religious metals.' Whether she herself ever used the word 'fawned', as claimed, is another queston entirly.
