News reports are revealing some emerging details on what was recovered by law enforcement in the apartment where Heath Ledger died yesterday.
CNN reports that Ledger's death most likely was accidental and due to a combination of illness (pneumonia) with a possible toxic combination of various prescribed, over-the-counter and other substances.
WCBS-TV in New York is reporting that unidentified drug packets were found inside the actor's SoHo Apartment, and a rolled up $20 bill.
CNN now reports that the bill did not have any narcotic residue as reported earlier by WCBS-TV.
Several drug packets containing an unknown substance were found listed on the official police report from the scene. It is unknown who they belonged to at this time.
Blogger Perez Hilton claims several bottles of the prescription anxiety drugs Valium and Zoloft, along with the prescription sleeping medication Ambien were at the scene.

Enough is Enough - along with Anna Nicole, and her son, its proving that the pressure on that industry and the people in it is causing havoc. Look at them all, including Britney and gang. Something has to be done to turn this around. All of them deserve better, and those around them all need to wake up to what the problem is. Surely we can turn this around. It reminds me of gladiators that were thrown into a ring of lions for our entertainment. If they died, then ah well - next. Sounds familiar? I for one am going to stop supporting the industry by simply turning away - my dollar counts and I can vote with my feet, until they do something about this tragic and sad environment. Its time.
i myself was surprised to find out about his death, as we did not know alot about him but on my opinion he was a great man and actor, then again i am just a mamber of the public and i tought he was a great actor. any way i think that his family would like some privacy without press all over them.
Very nice site!
