Jennifer Lopez and Irving Azoff are kaput

Jennifer Lopez has split from her manager.

The 'Do It Well' singer and Irving Azoff reportedly parted ways after less than a year because he didn't get on with her husband Marc Anthony.

A source close to Azoff told gossip website TMZ.com: "They had a heated phone conversation last week and he sent her a letter of resignation, telling her in blunt terms that she was unprofessional and he was not happy with Marc Anthony being allowed to constantly meddle in her work."

But Jennifer's representative said: "She let him go on Friday (11.01.08) with no drama. We know nothing about a letter."

The 38-year-old singer is believed to be seven-months pregnant. She is reportedly expecting twins, a boy and a girl, conceived using IVF treatment.

Jennifer has a reputation for being difficult to work with.

Since finding love with Marc Anthony, who she married in 2004, she claims to have killed off her diva persona J.Lo.

She said last year: "J.Lo was just a bit of fun that got really crazy. I've never really been anyone but Jennifer.

"I've been asked all this stuff from using a $700 tub of La Mer face cream a day to my pre-nup 10 commandments. I can't believe that people read that stuff and they think it's true. It's crazy."
