We love Diane Lane. She has resisted mangling her beautiful face with ill-advised preemptive plastic surgery. She is a humble, great acting talent who has weathered a bad first marriage to come out on the other side in a new relationship that makes her happy.
You don't see her clawing for freebies in swag suites at award shows, or hawking handbags or drugstore makeup.
Extra's reporter Jerry Penacoli sat down with Lane, the star of the upcoming movie, "Untraceable," where she reveals what her next role will be and what is her most prized possession.
Lane says she plans to leave the acting up to her husband of four years, Josh Brolin, saying, “I’m going to be the missus who comes and visits and says, ‘Hi, honey. How’s it going’…This is what is so amazing about being a wife. I get it now. Mrs. B.”
Lane admits that she’s been wearing the necklace Brolin gave her when they first started dating “for six years straight,” saying, “Even when I do glamorous events, like the Oscars®, and things I say, ‘You have to make the jewelry work with this [the necklace].”
After receiving critical acclaim for his performances in "American Gangster" and "No Country For Old Men," Brolin is at the top of his game and his wife couldn’t be more proud.
“My buttons are bursting. He deserves every good thing coming to him,” she says.
To find out what Lane calls her beloved necklace, tune in to the full interview on “Extra” on Tuesday, January 15th and for all the latest celebrity news, log on here.

please don't leave the movie screen. you are such a genuine actor and i know you want the best for your husband but abandoning your career is not going to help him. let him follow his destiny. your career will never reach its full potential if you give away your magic to someone who has his own.
