Halle Berry wants to "stay pregnant forever".

The 'Monster's Ball' star - who is due to give birth to her first child with her French-Canadian boyfriend Gabriel Aubry in March - loves being with child so much she wants the experience to last "forever".

She said: "My skin is aglow from all the hormones. I want to stay pregnant forever.

"Right now I just have so much joy and energy that I feel like I've already done 12 things today. I can just go and go and go."

Halle, 41, also revealed she and Gabriel have not found out the sex of their baby, but she has been getting "signs" indicating she might be having a girl.

She told America's In Style magazine: "Stevie Wonder's 'Isn't She Lovely' has been playing a lot in our house. And for some reason, that song keeps coming up on my iPod too - even though it's on shuffle. We're like, 'It's a sign! It's a girl!' "

'X-Men' star Halle has started playing golf to keep fit and to support Gabriel, who is a keen player of the sport.

She said: "When someone is your life partner and he really cares about something, it's important to care about it as well, you know? So I started taking golf lessons and got bitten by the bug."
