Victoria Beckham's fishy addiction

Victoria Beckham has become addicted to fish fingers.

The Spice Girl, famous for her svelte figure, has turned to the fishy breadcrumb-coated sticks to help her lose weight after reportedly gaining a few pounds over the festive period.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Victoria is very healthy. She knows that fish is one of the lowest foods in calories or fat. And it's something she genuinely likes.

"Fish fingers used to be a guilty pleasure which she gave up. But she was pleased when she recently discovered that they are actually good for you, as long as you grill them. And they're full of Omega-3 fatty acids."

Victoria's soccer star husband David has now nicknamed her Nemo, after the animated star of 'Finding Nemo', because she eats fish fingers constantly.

The mother-of-three - who was ordered to bulk up over Christmas to keep her strength up for the Spice Girls' current world tour - has even started making her own fish treats by coating strips of salmon in pesto breadcrumbs.

Victoria - who is currently in Britain performing a series of London shows with her bandmates - has been invited to enjoy a fish finger supper with fellow Brit Cat Deeley once she returns to her Los Angeles home.

'So You Think You Can Dance' host Cat - who moved to Los Angeles last year - told Britain's New magazine: "I haven't seen the Beckhams yet, but the invitation is there for Posh to come around for a glass of wine and some fish fingers."
