Tom Hanks says people are obsessed with his hair.
The 'Charlie Wilson's War' actor - who frequently tops Worst Hair lists - says there has always been an unhealthy obsession with his locks, but he doesn't understand why.
He said: "When you just start out and no one knows you from Adam, nobody says to you, 'What's with the hair?' You're just a guy, and that's the way your hair is.
"Then you become famous, and people suddenly start saying things, 'What do you mean by the hair?' That's what happened to me when I did 'The Da Vinci Code.' "
Tom, 51, also revealed two of his children - 30-year-old Colin and 25-year-old Elizabeth, from his first marriage to late wife Samantha Lewes - often ask him for acting advice.
He told America's Time magazine: "But what advice can you possibly give? Just do good work, you know? That's about it. Oh, and don't talk to the press too much!"
Tom also has two sons, Chester, 17, and 13-year-old Truman with wife of 19 years, Rita Wilson.
