Russell Brand once glued dog hair to his head so he could look like Vanilla Ice.
The British comedian was so desperate to look like the 'Ice Ice Baby' rapper he cut curly locks from a canine and stuck them to his forehead.
His mother Barbara explained: "One time he got hold of his father's girlfriend's dogs and cut a chunk of its blond curls off. Russell didn't hurt the little thing, but he thought that if he glued its hair onto the front of his head, he would look just like that 90s pop singer Vanilla Ice."
Barbara also revealed the 32-year-old TV presenter began dressing outlandishly from a very early age.
She said: "He loved dressing up. At one point he was obsessed with this Prince of Wales check suit. Then there was his cape of love. He thought it made him look really mysterious but it was really just a mac we got from Burtons."
