Naomi Watts won't star in family films just because she has become a mother.
The actress - who gave birth to her first son Alexander in July - is known for appearing in dark and violent films, including 'The Ring' and 'Eastern Promises', insists she has no plans to tone down her roles now she has a child.
She said: "I'm not going to become a Disney girl!
"Someone asked me whether I'd make 'Funny Games' now as a parent and I don't know. I think I would.
"I'd hope my child, when he's ready to see it - which won't be for a very, very long time - would understand it.
"But I'm not going to suddenly turn up in popcorn movies because I've got a kid."
Despite all the dark movies she has starred in, Naomi - who is dating 'The Omen' actor Liev Schreiber - insists she is not a disturbed individual.
She added: "Because of the films I've made people think of me as being this horrendously dark and troubled person and I'm really not."
