Who cares if she's pregnant or not in any other situation, other than the people directly involved with her, but when she is a popular TV star in a program that caters to young girls, that is a whole other scenerio altogether. She has been living with her boyfriend at the age of 15/16 to begin with and is now - surprise, surprise, pregnant!! She isn't a good role model for anyone, let alone young girls. Her show should definitely be axed. Give her credit for keeping the baby or whatever, but she was stupid, immature, and fake, and clearly not responsible in the role she was given.........EOS!
I think she did the right thing choosing to keep the baby no matter the consequence. Shit happens but instead of thinking of career first, she chose to keep the baby knowing full well the ridicule she would face from the world. It must be incredibly shitty having 'the world' know everything you do and then choosing to criticize, when they themselves f*%k up as well.
What is all this role model talk? GWBush was arrested for selling cocaine in 1985 at the Miami Intl Airport by DEA agents. Multiple DUI's and drug arrests. AWOL while in service. GWBush for decades has engaged in homosexual sex with Victor Ashe, his college roomate at 2 seperate all-male cheerleading schools. GWBush ordered the slaughter of 10,000's of pets and animals following Katrina, ordered our military to war based on lies, has destroyed our real estate industry just like he did in Texas and the S&L scandals......wait.....Jamie Lynn is a role model and should be impeached from her TV show??!!'
I would certainly hope that Nick would can her show. My daughter and many other young girls look up to the 'characters' on Disney and Nick. Nick should not run a special on sex and love. It has no place on a children's network. You ever heard of KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid). Children need to have the opportunity to be young and not be so exposed to this 'grown-up' crap. I have to agree, we can always turn off the TV and I hope many of us/you do.

they r thinking bout canceling cuz of the message from jamie,but she is mi idol and i love her so much, i just hope she turns her pah in life, she could do and deserves so much better hen what shes getting, she is mi one and only idol. they might and might not show season 4, i hope they show it and that they do an episode about love and sex like stated. i hope they dont cancel the show though.

The whole point isn't whether she is doing the right thing by keeping her baby, but whether her program should be taken off TV. It should - for all the obvious reasons!!!!

I watched a marathon of all the episodes Nick was running the other day. It was a lame show. Bad acting and stupid plot lines and dumb sight gags we've seen on Nick shows 200 times since the eighties.
It really is no great loss. However it is going to be real hard for Jamie to get work now. She really has no show biz future. She should go to college now and become a lawyer or an acoountant. She'll make money she might even stay rich.

Pam, what obvious reasons are there for axing the show? How one views its harmless fiction doesn't need to be affected by what is happening with the actors in real life. There is no negative message sent by keeping this slapstick show on the air. And I'm glad to have just read that Nickelodeon has decided to air that already filmed fourth season. Depriving the fans from seeing it is an idea with no merit.
Impressionable young girls are probably the major fan base here, and they tend to get caught up in these shows as real life, and they also look up to these characters. I'm sure a lot of them have been privy to the 'news' and it takes away from this silly show now at any rate. Most parents with any sense will turn the channel anyway! Responsible parents also would not allow their young kids to get so caught up in these celebrities that they spend hundreds of dollars on tickets to see them when most of the families can ill afford it. The bottom line is responsible parenting!

your lives are all about the $ sign, movie stars, cars, s*x, drugs, booze. Your killing yourselves off with sexual diseases..you can go about trying to spread democracy in the world and for what? so the rest of the world can end up like you ppl? Fix your own ppl before you try fixing the rest of the world.
