Eva Mendes banned her parents from watching her latest film because she has sex in it.
The Latina actress romps with co-star Joaquin Phoenix in 'We Own The Night' - the first sex scene she has ever done - and admits she isn't brave enough to let her mom and dad see it.
She said: "If you have to hit someone in a film, you fake it. But if somebody is fondling your private parts, there's no faking what you see on screen. You sit there and think, 'Oh my God, that's really happening!'
"And you can't get it out of your head. My dad can't see this movie, my mom can't see this movie! I've told them they have to get there 15 minutes late so they miss that scene."
Although Eva is reluctant to let her parents watch the steamy scenes, she insists she is proud she stripped naked on screen in 'Training Day'.
She said: "Going nude is a really big deal for Americans - even more so when you are trying to become established.
"I took a big risk. I went full-frontal - and back! Afterwards, I was like, 'Did I do the right thing?' But the reaction was very positive. And I realised that if you put yourself out there people will respond. That's the pay-off."

At least she seems to have some pride!
Yeah, and that is why she poses nude for magazines like Maxima and other garbage like that. Where is the pride there? She is beautiful but posing nude is the same thing as doing a sex scene and she should have the same kind of pride there.

The scene was not even a big deal but I guess people are going by American standards but in Europe that would be as goody goody as Sound of Music. She made a big deal out of nothing!! The entire scene that they are referring to is like 60 seconds or something.
