Renee Zellweger's resolution refusal
Dec 27, 2007, 7:30 GMT
Renée Zellweger doesn't believe in New Year's resolutions.
The 'Bridget Jones' Diary' actress - whose character Bridget Jones made long lists of resolutions in her diary every year - keeps her life in order throughout the year and feels she has nothing to resolve.
Renée told BANG Showbiz: "I don't do New Year's resolutions actually. If it needs fixing I just fix it when I need to."
The 38-year-old actress also revealed she is planning to spend the Christmas holidays with her family - but she will leave the cooking to her parents.
She said: "I am celebrating Christmas with my family. I cook occasionally, if they trust me. I am a good cook, but it depends on what I'm making."
The 'Bee Movie' star recently revealed she is obsessed with writing thank you letters.
She said: "When I get a day off I get really busy and roll up my shirt sleeves and get done all the things that keep me awake at night when I'm working because I don't have time to do them. I do believe that my true calling is to become a writer."
