Jamie Lynn Spears' family want to keep her away from her sister Britney Spears.
The 'Gimme More' singer heard the news of her 16-year-old sister's pregnancy from a paparazzo and is now keen to support Jamie Lynn, but her family are worried Britney will be a bad influence.
A source said: "Britney wasn't the first to know about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy, but she's trying to show her sister that she supports her. That's great, but at the same time we're worried. Jamie Lynn always liked to do everything with Britney, but as untimely as this pregnancy is, Britney is probably happy that their kids will be close in age and they can raise them together.
"But the longer Jamie Lynn is around Britney and bonding over this, the harder it's going to be for her to leave and go back to Louisiana like she says she will. It isn't hard to imagine what trouble she could get into if she gets too close to Britney right now."
Britney, 26, - who has lost custody of her sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 15-month-old Jayden James - spent $500 on a gift basket for Jamie Lynn yesterday (20.12.07) at exclusive Beverly Hills baby boutique Petit Tresor, including a vest with "Hot Mama 2 B" printed on it.
Meanwhile, Nickelodeon - who make children's TV show 'Zoey 101' in which Jamie Lynn stars - are considering making a special episode for its young audience about sex and love.
Filming for the show's fourth and final season -aimed at nine to 14-year-olds - has finished, and episodes are due to be aired in February, but production of an extra episode addressing teenage sex is being planned.
Nickelodeon have approached veteran newswoman Linda Ellerbee who has previously presented shows for children about same-sex parents, AIDS, the Columbine shooting and President Clinton's impeachment scandal.
Ellerbee said: "I think it's important that something be done. But I think it's important that it be done in a measured way, and not just to feed the beast of news stories.
"This is a great opportunity for parents at this moment to talk to their kids about this - more important, to listen to their kids about this.
"Right now what Nickelodeon is trying to do - and what I am trying to do - is figure out what is the best thing to do for kids."
Nickelodeon said in a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

a slut like her sister/
and mother
In my personal opinion if she's pregnant let her be pregnant, its no different than when older women get pregnant everyone is excited. Why can't everyone just be happy for her yes she made a mistake but she knows that & she's going to live with it. This kind of stuff happens everyday with teenagers, its no different with Jamie Lynn she's just famous but famous people are real people too.

I think this is just a big hoax to get the spotlight and bad press off of the bigger sister. Because , why would a sixteen year old put herself thru the horrific ness of the whole process, I'm sure she just started her period. Where was her parents, (mother) pill popping eh!
