Kim Cattrall has donated the fur coats she wore in 'Sex and the City: The Movie' to PETA.
The stunning actress wore the furs in four separate takes for a scene filmed at New York Fashion Week where her character Samantha Jones feels the wrath of animal rights protesters who throw red paint all over her.
In a bid to show fans she is thoroughly against wearing fur in real life, Kim has donated the four coats to PETA who will now distribute them to the homeless.
Michael McGraw, a spokesman for the animal rights campaigners, said: "The only people who can be excused for wearing fur are the homeless - to keep warm during the winter."
Kim isn't the only celebrity supporter of the group.
Eva Mendes recently stunned fans when she stripped off for a PETA poster declaring "I'd rather go naked than wear fur", while Pamela Anderson and Alicia Silverstone have also lent their support to the rights group.

PETA is going to give the furs to the homeless? Not burn them? Isn't that a little hypocritical? Fur is evil and should be banned, but only when we say so? Does this mean that homeless people are going to get attacked with paint now too? These people need to make up their minds which side they're on. And by the way-P.E.T.A. PEOPLE EATING THE ANIMALS. I have furs at home, and I'll buy more in the future. You so called animal rights activists need to get your heads screwed on straight.
