The 21-year-old actress - who plays former head girl JJ French in the new remake of 'St Trinian's' - loves hanging out with elderly people, because they have more interesting things to say.
She said: "I just really love hanging out with really old people. They're the best dinner dates you could ever have. All that life experience and understanding."
'The O.C.' star - who returned to her birth town of London last year to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) - also revealed she is considering moving from Los Angeles to London permanently, because she loves a "good English pub".
She added: "I feel very at home in London for some reason. It feels like I should move there soon and spend some time there.
"I love a good pub, but there are no good pubs in Los Angeles."
Mischa also confessed she becomes a recluse when she is in Los Angeles and much prefers the anonymity that comes with being in New York.
She added to Britain's The Independent newspaper: "It's nice to be in New York more and more these days because you get a bit more anonymity and it's not an issue. You can just live a normal life. In Los Angeles, you can't avoid the paparazzi - they're everywhere.
"I still go back there all the time. I just go out less and stay at my house."
