The French actress - who is currently starring in children's fantasy adventure 'The Golden Compass' - admits her bank account has swelled since she made the transition from art house cinema to blockbusters.
Eva - who shot to fame last year as a Bond girl in 'Casino Royale' - said: "It's just acting at the end of the day, but the difference from my early films is the money, which is much better. Let's just say I'm very happy with the figures!"
The screen beauty, who plays a flying witch in the movie, also revealed she was relieved she didn't have to shoot any scenes with the 'imaginary' animals in the film.
She added: "I was quite lucky because all my scenes were with a real actor, a human being, so I didn't have to make anything up. It was all with other actors, so it was really easy for me.
"A lot of the cast had scenes with the animals, which were generated by computers, so they had to act with nothing to feed off.
"But I really like the bears' fight in the film, it's really amazing, the special effects are wonderful."
