More trouble for Amy Winehouse.
Blake Fielder-Civil, the husband of Amy Winehouse was remanded in custody after appearing in a London court on Friday charged with beating up a bartender, media reports said.
Fielder-Civil, 25, and another man, Michael Brown, were due to stand trial this month, accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a pub landlord, James King, in Hoxton, east London, in June last year.
The trial is delayed after police arrested Fielder-Civil and charged him with conspiracy to interfere with the course of justice.
At a hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, east London, Fielder-Civil was denied bail and remanded in custody until January 18.
Winehouse, 24, has visiited her husband in jail, sometimes with troubled addict Pete Doherty, and observers note she seems to be handling the stress of it poorly.
Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber defended her in a recent newspaper article, comparing her to Ella Fitzgerald and other singers whose talent lets them rise above personal troubles.
