Charlize Theron hates being labelled a "celebrity".
The Oscar-winning actress has revealed the biggest downside to doing the job she loves is being constantly in the public eye.
She said: "I don't like celebrity. I don't like this whole culture that we're living in now, and I don't like this casual attitude that if you decide to be an actor then your life is up for grabs.
"It's just not nice to go and get your groceries and have seven cars following you. I think I am becoming a little bit more closed off because of it."
The 'Monster' star also insists she is "absolutely loving" being 32, because she has been on a "search" of self-discovery.
She told Total Film magazine: "I'm 32 and I absolutely love it. I wouldn't want to go back to my twenties in a heartbeat. Life is a big old f***ing mystery, and I'm ready to go and experience it.
"I don't have all the answers, but it's great to feel that being in my early 30s I have been on the search - we all need to be on that search."

Who is she kidding? the movie industry has been around for how many years, and movie stars have always had thier personal lives on display - she knew full well what she was getting into and now she complains. Millions of people would gladly be followed by seven cars whilst grocery shopping to have the kind of financial security and lifestyle she has. But what can you really expect from a sellout with a crappy american accent.
