The Black Eyed Peas singer is so paranoid about falling over at film premieres she spends hours mastering her moves and testing the limitations of her designer dresses before she steps out in front of the paparazzi.
She said: "The funny thing is that before you take to the red carpet, you have to learn how to stand in the dress you're wearing. Just to stand! I always take a last look at myself before I leave the house because certain dresses aren't easy to wear, and you have to do them justice."
The singer-and-actress, famed for her sexy outfits, also revealed she never dresses for men and only wears clothes she feels comfortable in.
Fergie, 32, said: "I don't dress for men - I definitely dress for myself. People should know I wear more revealing stuff on stage than in real life. When I'm performing that is not real life. The stuff I wear in photo shoots and shows are a million miles away from what I wear at home."
