Nicole Richie's house trouble

Nicole Richie has been stopped from buying her dream home by angry residents.
The pregnant 'Simple Life' star and her Good Charlotte frontman fiancée Joel Madden recently made an offer on a home situated in an exclusive gated Southern California community.
After their potential neighbours heard the couple wanted to relocate to the area, they blocked the move because they are worried about being overrun by paparazzi.
A source said: "Nicole was livid because she loved the house. She thinks it's a bull-s**t reason, but she couldn't fight it."
Nicole and Joel could appeal the decision but it is unlikely the residents committee will reverse their decision.
Meanwhile, Joel has said he thinks fatherhood will inspire his music.
The 28-year-old rocker, who is set to become a father in December, believes the experience will manifest itself in his songwriting.
He said: "I'm sure it will inspire me. I just can't wait now. It's going to be amazing."

Those neighbors should get a grip. You live in L.A.!!!! there are soo many celebs every where!!!! if you don't like Paparazzi following around her house why don't you complain to the paparazzis to the POLICE. YOU GUYS are such a Weak NeighWHORES!!!
It should be illegal to prevent them from buying a house because of what someone else (the paparazzi) will do.

She might think it is a 'bullsh*t' reason for trying to stop her from buying the house, but you have to sympathize with the neighbors on this one. Although she probably wouldn't live there long anyway - just until the couple splits in a few months!
